S. Kumar Ahuja has been in the actuarial field for over four decades.

Prior to founding Actuarial Pension Retirement Services a.k.a Actuarial Benefit Consulting, he was a Manager / Consulting Actuary in the Keogh department at Touche Ross (now Deloitte & Touche) in Los Angeles, where he advised a wide range of plan sponsors on issues such as plan design and pension funding.

Mr. Ahuja has testified in the court of law on a few occasions successfully besides having participated in the preparation of numerous Qualified Domestic Relation Orders for divorcing couples, financial loss (wrongful death and disability) calculations involving loss of wages, employee benefits, offset by the social security payments as result of the death or disability, etc.

Previously, Mr. Ahuja was based in Washington D.C., where he founded the Actuarial Department at Martin E. Segal Company, and served as a Consultant and Actuary to Union Negotiated plans. He has also served as a Consultant and Actuary to the U.S.Department of Energy and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
